PEP is based in Puerto Escondido, on the pacific coast of Oaxaca, Mexico. Puerto Escondido has a population of 50,000 inhabitants, is a beach town and is privileged to have one of the best beach breaks in the world. The main income is from tourism, especially the surfers who come here year round.

Puerto Escondido can be easily reached by domestic flight connections from Mexico City or by a comfortable overnight bus ride. If you are travelling from certain destinations in Canada or the US during the main tourist season of October to the end of April, you may be able to fly direct to Huatulco International Airport which is only a 90 minute road trip from Puerto Escondido.
